Interns

Our company is based in Piemonte Monferrato, northern Italy. We serve clients primarily from North and South America, but also from Europe and Qatar.

Our clients typically purchase villas,  townhouses or country houses that have been vacant for a long time. Some of these properties date back to the 18th century and have a long history of adapting to the economic, historical, and cultural development of Monferrato, Italy.

Our company’s services encompass a wide variety of offerings, providing comprehensive support for homes and properties.

Many of our clients have Italian or European ancestors and are therefore particularly interested in returning to their roots by purchasing their property and spending their retirement here. We are happy to assist them in this regard as well

The Greytek team is multicultural, and we speak English, Italian, German, and Arabic.

We welcome interns: craftspeople and restorers, as well as students studying architecture, history, and art history.

We offer the following work areas to students from the above-mentioned degree programs who would like to complete an internship with us:

• Work in municipal archives: historical development of villages and towns, house construction, as well as agricultural farming and livestock farming, right up to winegrowing.

• Collaboration in the restructuring and preservation of old Piedmontese building methods

• Creation and development of wineries and grape varieties; this also includes the numerous finds of amphorae, Etruscan infernos, and ancient tools

• Studying historical maps and documents from private collections

• The ancient botanical garden of Villa Genova in San Salvatore, which is being revived by our clients and needs helpers.

• The writer Elsa Zai from Rosignano is happy to answer questions as contemporary witnesses; Elsa and her mother Luigina have published books on the local history of their town, war heroes, and monuments. Traditional wine production, the architectural development of local wineries, and the Infernot as a World Heritage Site are her passion.

• The history of rice (since 1924) along the Po River;

We are looking for interns who are interested in all aspects and willing to actively participate. The number of hours and duration of the internship will be agreed upon individually.

We look forward to meeting you,

The Greytek Team
